We stayed 3 nights and if we had the money we would buy it and come back every year. It was really wonderful. We sure come back one time.
great experience

overall the experience was great. The only disappointing thing for us was that the pool closed so early through the week and this didn't give us much time to enjoy it after sightseeing during the daytime.

The place was awsome! We really enjoyed the well decorated house which had a well stocked kitchen. The game room was perfect and each person had thier own little place to be by themselves when needed. The mountain views were the best I've seen in a long time. The kids enjoyed the pool. The golf course was spectacular and there are plenty of activities if needed. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We even saw a dough crossing the road in the morning while going to town. We plan on staying there next year.
Gorgeous...

I thought that the cabin was gorgeous and fit all our needs. The only problem that I had was getting all the way up to the cabin and not having alot of stores, resturants around. Other than this I did not have any complaints and would come back again.

Our family has been skiing out West, usually Deer Valley, Utah, for many years but because of current economic conditions we decided cut expenses and try something here on the East coast. The condo,#221 Happy Days, was perfect. Our only complaint was that the snow machines were running continually during the day and that made it difficult to enjoy skiing when you had to ski through "white out" conditions on all the slopes that were open.

We really enjoyed our stay at Secenic Wolf Resort. We stayed in Happy Days and it was perfect. The view was awesome and the cabin was very comfortable and cozy. The beds were very comfortable. Ski in ski out was great! The drive up is pretty steep but it was night time when we got there. Not too bad in the day light. We enjoyed the pool room each night and of course the hot tub. I'm so glad I found this place because it was exactly what we were looking for. I would highly recommend this cabin if your looking for family fun.
A Fabulous White Christmas at Happy Days Cabin!!
Reviewed by Go Gators on 1/7/2010
This was a last minute vacation. We booked easily the night before on the internet. The internet directions were spot on. We arrived early, but since the cabin was empty we were able to check in early--big plus since we drove all night to get to NC. Check in was very personable and easy. Once we arrived at the cabin the kids went crazy!! I know this sounds unbelievable, but the cabin was even better in person. We played pool, watched the big screen, and played board games--all supplied by the rental. We cooked the whole trip in the fully equiped kitchen--very nice. The cabins three bedrooms were very roomy. The master suite was beautiful. I loved the master shower stone floor and the view of the mountains. The kids loved the cabins three stories and all the amenities-- this cabin is loaded, it's like visiting a relative without the relative!! My husband loved the fireplace and WiFi. The reason we picked this location was snow. Being Floridians, the kids wanted snow for Christmas and boy did we have snow. The cabin had a sled and a snow shovel, both of which came in very handy. We used the sled to go down the ski slope that was located right outside the front door. It was amazing!! The kids were able to sled, build a snowman and igloo, and play in the snow right at the cabin. It was so convienent. We even took snowboarding lessons at the big ski lodge the day we left. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We ate breakfast one morning at the ski lodge--very affordable. Originally, when we were booking the cabin I thought it was a little pricey. But in the end, the cabin was worth every penny. I would highly recomend Happy Days at Scenic Wolf Resort!!
Home Sweet Home

The staff was friendly and informative about the resort, accommodations, and area places to visit. As for the home, it was just like being at Home Sweet Home. Everyone laughs at me for the accommodations I select and label me as "High Maintenance", but once we arrived the complaints all turned in to compliments. We loved the home and it definitely had all the comforts of home. We would highly recommended the location to all mountain lovers, looking for the comforts of home and more. The views were priceless with what was left of the fall colors. Sincerely, Carol Pickens

This cabin is the bomb! Group of moms went up to get a break from the everyday chaos. The cabin was perfect! We enjoyed the quiet, the view, the pool table, the hot tub... too many things to mention. We had a wonderful time and we hope to go back soon.

We (3 couples) rented Happy Days for a short get -away for rest and relaxing and that is what we done.Everything we needed was there. The home was beautifully decorated and we enjoyed our stay very much. We all had private bedrooms and baths on separate floors. We also enjoyed the coke room where we enjoyed cake and ice cream, and the movie theatre room where we relaxed and watched movies and ate popcorn. The staff was very nice and accomatating. We would recommend this home and wish we can come again.

Great cabin for my whole family.

This was our first time to stay in one of the cabins at Wolf Ridge. It was the perfect cabin for myself, my husband and our 2 college-age children. My son loved that we each had a bedroom on a different level. My daughter LOVES movies so we brought DVD's from home and would end each night watching a movie on the big-screen TV. The theater seats were so comfortable. My husband enjoyed beating most of us in pool. While the master suite upstairs was very roomy, I will say that the master bathroom was fairly small. No vanity counter space at all. There is a hair dryer in this master suite bathroom and they also provided one bath robe. I loved that each bedroom had a full bath. The half bath is conveniently located on the main level. I will caution anyone that has back, leg or knee problems because there are lots of stairs. Naturally, houses built on the side of a mountain have to be this way. From the game room on the lowest level up to the master suite on the top level, it is about 30 steps. Of course just going from the main level to the lowest level is not as many. My husband and son thoroughly enjoyed the challenging golf course. My husband wants to tackle it again. In fact, my husband and I hope to make another trip back to Wolf Ridge in September, and then we hope to finally try the skiing there in January. I can definitely recommend this cabin. My compliments to the decorator.
"Happy Days" for happy memories!

We were blessed to be able to stay in the most comfortable and fun-filled home. It was beautifully decorated and had something for everyone. We stayed for 5 days and had something planned for every day in Asheville, but once we realized what the luxury cabin had to offer, we changed plans and decided to create wonderful memories in the comfort of this home. We felt like we were in the home of a friend rather than a rental property. The personal touches and attention to detail was incredible. One day we spent two hours walking through the home looking at all the creative and tasteful decorations. It was like walking through an antique/ boutique shop. It was so much fun. It was very romantic, but also great for the older kids. We had my parents and 2 Tweens with us and still had plenty of privacy. We loved that we could all be in the same place doing different things but never feel like we were apart or in each others space. We would have fun with all the family in the game room, then retreat to our private jacuzzi tubs, one of the many balconies to enjoy the peaceful scenery, or the hot tub. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer, but we will be back!
