Great Cabin, Beautiful Views
Reviewed by Mel M. on 10/9/2009
A couple of the girls (total of 5) and I went up to the mountains to do some white water rafting. We wanted to stay somewhere we could get that "mountain feel". Boy, was this a mountain feel, it was on the top of the mountain! Had we thought it out better we would not have brought the mini van. It was a little hard getting up to the cabin in the van since the roads were wet and very steep. I would suggest looking into renting a 4 wheel drive if you do not have one. Otherwise, we LOVED the hot tub on the porch overlooking the mountains and the wonderful fireplaces in the living room and game room. They even provided a DVD player! The cabin was spotless and even though we ran out of propane on the first night they had someone bring another tank right over at no charge to us. I would love to stay here again! You will NOT be disappointed!
Loved it - Beautiful

The cabin and the view were so beautiful. The accomadations were just lovely. I cannot say anything bad about the facility. We visited in summer so it was off season and the lodge was not opened. The road to the cabin was a bit steep and slightly frightning but mostly because the weather was bad and it was quite foggy.
Winter family reunion a success at Scenic Wolf Resort
Reviewed by NH on 7/21/2009
Our family (three sisters and their families - 16 children and 17 adults) held a week-long reunion at Scenic Wolf Resort. We had four houses that were fairly close together so it was not a problem to get from one place to another. The houses were very comfortable - we particularly enjoyed the hot tub on the deck. The kitchens were well-equipped with cooking utensils and pots and pans. The children loved the pool, although we were disappointed when it was closed for two days because of a chemical imbalance in the water. The mountain views were beautiful, but some of the children got car sick riding up the mountain to see those views! I would recommend this location to any family wanting to get away for some quality family time.
Great cabin.
Reviewed by cabin renters from TN on 7/6/2009
We had a great stay at the cabin, and we loved the way it was set up. Unfortunately, it wasn't cleaned (at least the linens and towels were changed out) when we arrived, and although we were offered to stay in other cabins, we had spent a long time picking out just the right cabin, and didn't like any of those offerred. So we had to change the linens and towels in all the bedrooms.
Manager's Response:
We sincerly appologize for this mixup with our Housekeeping staff. This is totally unacceptable and has been addressed by all envolved. We would have gladly moved the guest to a different cabin, but respect the decision by the guest to stay in the cabin of choice. If given another chance to have you visit, be assured, this situation will not happen again. Manager
